Hi, I’m Lizette Overman! My life has been shaped by the vibrant contrasts of two incredible places: the sunny, relaxed vibe of Perth and the ever-changing seasons of the Netherlands. Growing up, I experienced the best of both worlds—Perth’s bright colours and warmth during visits every couple of years, and the Netherlands’ rich seasonal palette, from fiery autumns to fresh spring blooms. These experiences have deeply influenced my creative vision.
With a career rooted in advertising and a passion for interior design, travel, and hands-on projects, I’ve always found inspiration in the blend of colours, cultures, and creativity that these two places bring to life.
Fast forward to the present: I decided it was time for a fresh start. In 2024, I sold my house, said goodbye to loved ones in the Netherlands, and moved back to Perth with a container full of home essentials and flowers.
Now, I’m blending the vibrant beauty of Perth with the seasonal charm of the Netherlands by bringing Poppin’ Flowers to life!
